A free mind at play

I was sitting on a fence, minding my own business, when all of a sudden a black cat crossed my path.

Off the fence I fell.

The black cat giggled and rolled its eyes as I plopped on the green grass.

"Bad kitty!" says I, "your reputation precedes you!"

The cat scoffs and prances off looking for its next victim, I assume.
