i am now online at home and i'm so glad that i don't have to use the computers at the library with their web-blocker crap! shove it, web-blocker, you're so sensitive :P
okay, now for some wedding news...my best-friend beth came to visit me today and she had her mother with her. beth has had a tough time for the past few months. she's had surgery to remove her colon and she's only 25, so she had to wear that icky bag on her side to collect all her waste for a few months. last wednesday she had her last surgery to do some repair work so that now she doesn't have to wear the bag and she can live a normal life. i'm really happy for her.
anyway, while i was talking to her and her mom, we started to talk about the wedding and her mom asked me if i had found anyone to marry us. i told her that i hadn't really thought about it. we're not getting married in a church, so i thought it was gonna be tough to find someone to do the service. well, her mom asked me if i wanted her to do it. i didn't even know she was able to do it. it seems as if she has been taking an online course or something and is now Reverend Phyllis (i'm not sure if that's how you spell her name :P) that just cracks me up...i'm getting married by rev. phyllis. haha, only in the south :P
i told her that i'd love for her to do it, because i've known her for about 10 years and i kind of consider her my second mom ever since my mom died.
well, beth had mentioned something about being my maid of honor, but i hadn't asked her yet. i knew it was gonna be her or my niece, but i wasn't sure yet. she mentioned it about 3 times, so after that last one, i said, "beth, would you like to be my maid of honor?" and she acted all innocent and said, "well...if you're asking" while batting her eyelashes and shuffling her feet :) i think she's really looking forward to this wedding. i'm glad because it'll be here before i know it and i know she'll help me out with a lot of my planning. we're both crafters, so we'll probably make a lot of our decorations and stuff.
okay, enough of the wedding talk, i think i'm gonna go site-surfing now and maybe i'll visit some of those naughty sites that the prim and proper library ladies wouldn't let me visit :)

eatinG: just finished a few slices of pizza...yep, the diet is off at the moment :P
