~*Welcome to Lisa's movie review!*~
At the moment, I am supposed to be creating a rough draft of my 3000 word research paper. I hate rough drafts. It's due tomorrow, and then I will have a peer review done by Billybob, and it will be returned to me next Sunday.
My topic is pharmacists and their right to refuse service. It is an interesting topic, but I'm really not in the mood.

I saw War of The Worlds yesterday. Note: if you clicked on that last link and you have dial-up, wait for the page to load. It takes less than a minute and it is a nice page :)
I really liked the movie. It had great special effects. I'm not a Tom Cruise fan, but I think he did a good job playing a distant father. Dakota Fanning was wonderful as always. She's a great little actress. Scott said she kind of got on his nerves with all that screaming she was doing. He said he didn't understand how someone that seems so intelligent in the first part of the movie, could turn into such a whiny baby near the end. That was the character he was talking about, not Dakota. Even with the whining(his whining :), he still liked the movie.

Another movie that I've seen over the last few days is American History X. It is a very powerful movie. My only regret is that I've waited so long to see it. Edward Norton's acting abilities are astounding! I hated him in the first part of the movie, and by the end, I felt compassion for him. It was pretty gut-wrenching and I was mentally exhausted when it was over. I usually don't watch such deep movies, but I would highly recommend this one.
